How It Works

What Is 1-2-1 Coaching?

1-2-1 coaching pairs you directly with one of our instructors for a session built entirely around you. Unlike a group class, the pace, focus, and content are shaped by your goals, your current level, and how you learn best.

Training includes:

  • Personalised technique breakdown and correction
  • Faster progression tailored to your pace
  • Extra support preparing for gradings
  • Focused work on specific weaknesses or goals
  • Flexible scheduling around your availability
  • One-to-one time with an experienced instructor

It is not a replacement for group training — it's a way to accelerate it. Many students combine 1-2-1 sessions with their regular classes.

Who It’s For

1-2-1 Coaching Is For Everyone

Adults of all ages and fitness levels. You do not need to be fit, flexible, or experienced to book a session. Students often book 1-2-1 coaching wanting:

  • Confidence before joining a group class
  • Faster progress on specific techniques
  • Focused preparation for an upcoming grading
  • Flexible training around a busy schedule

We regularly coach:

  • Complete beginners wanting a gentle introduction
  • Existing students looking to fast-track progress
  • Students preparing for an upcoming grading
  • Martial artists cross-training from other styles

Whatever your goal, we'll build a session around it.
